The Northern Youths Initiative for Information Technology Development (NYITD) is a youth-focused organization dedicated to promoting digital literacy, technological innovation, and sustainable development across Northern Nigeria. Our mission is to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
Through capacity-building programmes, innovation, advocacy, and strategic partnerships, we strive to bridge the digital divide, foster entrepreneurship, and create pathways for inclusive growth. By equipping youths with relevant digital competencies, NYITD is helping to build a generation of innovators, leaders, and change-makers who will drive sustainable development and economic transformation across the region.

The Northern Youths Initiative for Information Technology Development (NYIFITD) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and community-based organisation committed to advancing digital inclusion, technological innovation, and socio-economic empowerment among young people across Northern Nigeria.
Headquartered in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, the organisation focuses on bridging the digital divide by equipping youths, educators, and communities with the knowledge, skills, and technological resources needed to actively participate in the modern digital economy.
Established in response to the growing need for accessible digital infrastructure and ICT skills in underserved communities, NYIFITD was registered in Nigeria as an Incorporated Trustee on 2 October 2018. It operates from No. 1 ICAN Building, Wuse II, Abuja, where it continues to promote inclusive growth and innovation-driven development across Northern Nigeria.
